For younger siblings, visit Cadbury World for an introduction to the creation of your favourite treats! A donkey sanctuary is also available to visit at Sutton Park!
For the young adults, visit Escape Live Birmingham to experience an escape room with a theme of your choosing. If you fancy something more relaxed, try out Ghetto Golf, a mini golf experience overflowing with immersive one-of-a-kind art.
Culture
The Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, home to the worlds largest collection of Pre-Raphaelite paintings, is unfortunately currently closed until 2024. As an alternative, visit the the incredible Ikon Gallery, which you can enter and explore completely free of charge!
If you are a music student, the Symphony Hall will be one of your most beloved places while studying in Birmingham. If you are preparing to visit the University of Birmingham's open days on June 23-24, 2023, note that The National Open Youth Orchestra (NOYO) will be performing live at Symphony Hall at 3:00PM, June 24! Tickets for this event are free of charge.
For those intrigued by the sciences, make your way to Birmingham Open Media, a centre for exhibitions combining art, technology and science. Their aim is to explore how technology can be used as a tool for change, and in helping disadvantaged communities.

Food and Drink
You are absolutely spoiled for choice when it comes to food in Birmingham. Visit the infamous Balti Triangle, located along Ladypool Road, for some of the best curry you will ever have! Alternatively, students also rave about Birmingham's hidden gems. Emma's Pantry cooks terrific Caribbean food. Mr Egg offers Chinese street food, YouTube's viral fluffy pancakes, and of course bubble tea!
If you're planning a trip with your friends, make sure not to miss out on Birmingham's nightlife! Explore the pubs around Digbeth, or along the canal for a more scenic view. Students recommend The Alchemist and Dirty Martini if you are looking for somewhere a little more fancy.
